What to see in Anguilla, a Caribbean island renowned for its white beaches and clean sea, ideal for relaxing beach holidays, thanks to the mild climate all year round.


Where is it

Anguilla is located in the Caribbean Sea about ten kilometers north of Saint Martin while the Virgin Islands are located to the west.

It is a coral island that is part of the Lesser Antilles archipelago, administratively dependent on the United Kingdom, together with other smaller islands, since 1980.


Climate

Anguilla has a tropical climate with fairly constant temperatures throughout the year, which remain between 22 and 35 degrees Celsius, the lowest reached in February while the highest in August.

Anguilla, among the islands of the lesser Antilles, is the least rainy, the greatest rainfall occurs in October while in February there is usually no rainfall.

The sea water maintains a fairly warm temperature all year round and this allows you to swim in any period.


When to go

The best time to visit Anguilla is between November and April, which represents the high season with very rare rains but higher prices.

The rainy season runs from August to November while cyclones can occur between June and October.

However, the climate is mild all year round and to spend less we recommend the months of June, July and August.


What see

Anguilla is the Caribbean island out of mass tourism, it turns easily and the locals are very friendly.
