Bavarian yogurt with strawberry sauce

How to make the Bavarian yogurt with strawberry sauce by mixing the milk, jelly and sugar together with the yogurt, adding whipped cream and accompanying the dessert with a sauce of pureed strawberries and sugar.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 250 g of whole white yogurt

- 250 ml of whole milk


- 250 ml of fresh cream

- 1 tablespoon of sugar

- 3 sheets of jelly


For the sauce

- 300 g of strawberries

- 100 g of sugar


Preparation of the Bavarian yogurt with strawberry sauce

Soak the gelatin in cold water.

In a saucepan, boil the milk with the sugar, stirring constantly.

As soon as the milk starts to boil add the well-squeezed gelatin and melt it, then let it cool down.

Add the yogurt to the cold milk mixture, also add the whipped cream, stirring gently from the bottom upwards.

Transfer the mixture into a rectangular mold and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Wash the strawberries, remove the greens and cut them into small pieces, then add the sugar and blend everything in order to obtain a thick and smooth sauce.

Turn the Bavarian over on a cutting board and slice it into slices about 1/2 cm thick.

Serve the Bavarian slices accompanied with the strawberry sauce.
