Tourist information

A seaside resort located in the province of Rimini on the Romagna Riviera, Bellaria Igea Marina is located at the southern end of the Po Valley and is bathed by the Adriatic Sea.

It is a highly appreciated tourist destination, thanks to the sandy bottom, characterized by a depth of water contained near the shore, and the excellent accommodation services, including free beach, bathing establishments, hotels and clubs of all kinds.


Among the main monuments and places of interest, there are the Red House which, built on top of a dune, was the summer residence of the writer Alfredo Panzini, today it is possible to visit it and inside it houses the Accademia Panziniana headquarters.

The Saracen Tower, dating back to 1673, is the only fortification of this type that has retained its original appearance, compared to the other six present, also inside there is the Shell Museum.

What see

The pedestrian zone Isola dei Platani deserves attention, embellished with well-kept flower beds and where there are many shops to shop.


The parks include the Mulberry Park, located around the lake of the same name, and the Pavese Park, where the most important events are held.

For those who want to be in contact with nature, it is worth taking the paths for use, an itinerary of about 6 kilometers, to be done on foot or by bicycle, which winds along the banks of the river Uso.

Along the way there are equipped rest areas, in Bellaria, you can see some specimens of oaks and small forests of white and black poplars, willows and Mediterranean pines, there are also fruit trees and exotic plants.


Approaching Igea Marina the routes initially pass through thick reeds and then continue in a relaxing landscape characterized by canals.

The fauna is also interesting, which is present with various species of common birds, but it is not uncommon to see the gray heron, the kingfisher and the emerald toad.
