How to play trump called, what are the rules of this crafty card game also known as crazy trump and slightly more complex than the classic trump from which it differs primarily in the number of players.
Deck of cards
The deck to be used in this game is the same as the one used for the trump, that is to say a deck of 40 Italian cards, divided into four groups of different suits: cups, swords, sticks and money.
You can also use a deck of French cards (the ones that have suits: hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades), taking away the jokers, the 8, the 9, and the 10.
Number of players
A trump call the players are five and it will be the progress of the game to reveal who the opponents are and who the playmates are. This will be revealed by the calling card.
Scoring system
The final score and the grip value of the trump called, is calculated in the same way as the traditional trump.

preliminaries
The dealer deals the cards to each player, starting from the one sitting on his right, and proceeding counterclockwise, he gives each player 8 cards in two times.
The players are five, therefore the deck ends with the distribution, and there is no card face up on the table to indicate the trump.
Conduct of the trump called
The trump card is chosen by the players, as there is no trump card on the table.
The first-handed player, the one seated to the right of the dealer, calls out a card aloud, generally calls that of the suit where he is strongest, for example if he has an ace and a three, he can call a king, but without specifying the suit, and without putting any card on the table.
Proceeding, the player to his right can choose whether to pass the turn to the player sitting next to him, or call a card, which must always be a card of a lower value than the one previously called.

At this point, the caller of the 2 must specify which suit he calls, making it the trump suit for the whole hand.
The player who is in possession of the called card from that moment becomes the secret ally (until the card is played) of the person who called it.

Rarely, it can happen that a player who is in possession of many high-value trumps calls himself, or, as they say "call in hand", then in this case he will be alone to fight against four mutually suspicious opponents.
