Omelette nature: how to make the classic omelette

How to make the classic omelette, recipe also known by the French name omelette nature, what ingredients are needed and how to prepare it with cooking in a pan.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 6 eggs

- 50 gr butter


- salt

Preparation of the omelette nature

Break the eggs in a bowl, add 4 pinches of salt and start to beat them.

Melt the butter in a large non-stick pan, do this over a high flame, making sure that it does not burn, as soon as the butter starts to froth, pour the beaten eggs on the bottom of the pan, tilting the pan in every direction, to make sure that the the egg is distributed evenly.

With a wooden fork, slightly lift the edges of the omelette during cooking and shake the pan to move the omelette orbitally, so as to obtain a uniform cooking of the part that is facing the bottom.

Halfway through cooking, after about 2-3 minutes, take a plate of the same diameter as the pan, overlap it and turn the pan upside down holding the plate with the other hand, after sliding the omelette upside down again in the pan to complete the cooking.
