How to cook grilled rib eye, a Florentine recipe to pair with tomatoes and homemade bread with basil and pepper for a slightly spicy flavor.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 2 beef ribs of approx. 500 g each

- 4 slices of homemade bread


- 4 tomatoes

- 1 sweet red onion

- 1 clove of garlic


- extra virgin olive oil

- basil

- salt


- pepper

How to cook grilled beef rib

Clean the onion and cut it into very thin slices. Immerse the tomatoes in boiling water, peel and squeeze them to remove the seeds and the vegetation water.

Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and add the onion slices, then season everything with oil, salt, pepper and chopped basil.

Arrange the meat on the red-hot barbecue grill, cook it and season it with salt and pepper, then turn it to the other side without using sharp tools so as not to pierce the meat.

When the second part is cooked, salt and pepper it on this side too.

Meanwhile, toast the slices of bread, rub them with the clove of garlic, cut them in half and arrange the tomato and onion salad on top.

Serve the ribs hot with the tomato bruschetta.
