How to cook Florentine eggs with spinach

How to prepare eggs with Florentine spinach, an easy-to-prepare recipe that requires few ingredients, including Parmesan cheese, cooked in the oven.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- 20 gr. of butter

- 1 dl of milk


- 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

- 4 eggs

- 180 gr. spinach


- salt and pepper

How to make Florentine eggs

Clean the spinach, wash it several times in plenty of cold water and drain it.

Put them in a pan with the butter, browning them for about 3 minutes on a low heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon to keep them from sticking and adding salt and pepper to give them flavor.


Add the milk, making it dry almost completely on high heat.

Arrange the spinach in 4 small oven dishes and press in the middle with the back of a spoon to create a hollow, then lay an egg in each, sprinkling it with the Parmesan cheese.
