Recipe that explains how to make carrots in a pan, with marsala among the ingredients and a short preparation time, to be served hot after the final melting of the butter.
Ingredients for 4 portions
- 6 spoons of marsala
- 50 gr of butter
- 600 gr. fresh carrots
- salt
How to make carrots in a pan
Peel and wash the carrots, remove the two ends and cut them into strips about 2 millimeters thick, using a vegetable cutter.
In a pan put the carrots prepared in this way, together with the marsala and half of the butter, salt and cover, cooking on a high flame for about 3 minutes, keeping in mind that the marsala must come to a boil.
After reducing the intensity of the flame, cook for another 6 minutes on medium heat, until the carrots become tender, albeit still al dente.
After cooking, remove from the heat and add the remaining butter, stirring to melt and mix well before serving.
