How to make sponge cake, a chocolate recipe with lemon syrup, including whipped cream and eggs to bake in the oven.
Ingredients for 4 portions
For the sponge cake
- 200 gr. of sugar
- 1 sachet of yeast
- 4 eggs
- 200 gr. made with flour
For the filling
- 3 dark chocolate nuts
- Lemon syrup
- half a liter of whipping cream
How to prepare the sponge cake
Separate the egg yolks from the egg white.
Mix the sugar with the reds and whip the whites until stiff, then mix the two parts gently and add the flour.
Mix all the components and add a sachet of yeast.

Bake at medium temperature for approx. 20 minutes, waiting a while before removing it from the oven.
When the dessert is cold, divide it into two parts forming two discs that will be wet with lemon syrup.
Whip the cream and add two tablespoons of sugar, spread it over a part of the cake and grate the chocolate over it, then put the other part of the cake brushed with the lemon syrup and spread the whipped cream and grated chocolate on top.
