How to cook pasta with salami and cheese, recipe with penne including ripe tomatoes and provolone among the necessary ingredients, to be prepared in about 40 minutes.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of pens

- 200 g of salami


- 1 large onion

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 4 tablespoons of olive oil


- 100 ml of dry white wine

- 500 g of ripe tomatoes

- 1 sprig of rosemary


- salt

- fresh pepper

- 700 g of provolone

- 50 g of grated Parmesan

Time of realization

About 40 minutes

Preparation

1) Start by cutting the skinless salami and peeled onion into strips, then peel the garlic.

2) In a pan heat the oil and brown the onion, then mash the garlic and add the salami, to be skipped briefly making sure that it does not dry out excessively.

3) After pouring the wine, let it evaporate over high heat.

4) Blanch the tomatoes after cutting them crosswise, then peel them, remove the seeds and cut the pulp into cubes, putting it in a pan together with the salami.


5) Add the rosemary and adjust salt and pepper, stewing for 30 minutes over medium heat.

6) Add the provolone divided into strips and melt it, finally remove the sauce from the heat.

7) Cook the penne in abundant salted water respecting the cooking times indicated on the package.

8) Drain the pasta and transfer it to the pan containing the sauce.

9) Continue cooking for a further two minutes, stirring well over a lower heat, incorporating half of the Parmesan cheese and spreading the rest of the parmesan on top when serving on the table.
