Phrases San Domenico Savio

- Oh what a beautiful thing I never see!

- Help me become a saint. Don Bosco took that question seriously. He called Domenico and said to him: “I want to give you the formula of holiness. Be careful ... First: cheer. What disturbs you and takes away your joy does not come from the Lord .... Second: duties of study and attention at school, commitment to study, commitment to prayer. Do not do this out of ambition, to feel praised, but out of love for the Lord and to become a man ... Third: do good to others. Always help your companions, even if it costs you sacrifice. Holiness is all here ”.

You gave me the immense gift of a small living life in my life: I thank you humbly for choosing me as an instrument of your love.

In this sweet expectation help me to live in continuous abandonment to your will. Give me a pure, strong, generous mother's heart.

I offer you worries about the future; anxieties, fears, desires for the little creature that I don't know yet. Let her be born healthy in the body, remove any physical ailment and any danger to the soul from her.

You, Mary, who knew the ineffable joys of a holy motherhood, give me a heart capable of transmitting a living and ardent Faith.

Sanctify my expectation, bless my joyful hope, make the fruit of my womb sprout in virtue and holiness through your work and your Divine Son. Amen.
