Psalm 100: complete, commentary

post-title

CommentIn Psalm 100 all the peoples of the earth are invited to recognize the one God and to put himself at his service with joy and gratitude, obeying his plan which sees man at the center as a person above all living beings. The psalmist hopes that the peoples of the earth will welcome the message of Christ by joining the Church, whose doors are wide open for everyone, receiving the sacrament of baptism.

Psalm 100 complete

[1] Psalm. In thanksgiving.

[2] Acclaim to the Lord, all of you on earth, serve the Lord in joy, present yourself with exultation to him.

[3] Recognize that the Lord is God; he made us and we are his, his people and the flock of his pasture.

[4] Go through his doors with hymns of thanks, his atriums with songs of praise, praise him, bless his name;

[5] since the Lord is good, his mercy, his faithfulness for every generation, are eternal.
