How to make savory puff pastry croissants with cooked ham, recipe for an appetizer with egg to bake and which can be served cold or hot.


Ingredients 4 portions

- 50 gr of cooked ham

- 1 egg


- 150 gr of puff pastry

Preparation of the puff pastry croissants with ham

Take the puff pastry, divide it into two parts and roll it out with the help of a little flour using a rolling pin, creating two equal rectangles about 30 cm long and 8 cm wide.

Once this is done, obtain from each rectangle 10 triangles of 6 cm base and 8 cm high.


Cut the ham into 20 strips and distribute them over the triangles of puff pastry.

Roll up the triangles being careful to close them well and brush the croissants obtained with the beaten egg for the first time, leaving them to rest for an hour in the refrigerator afterwards.

Then brush the croissants again and arrange them on a baking tray, previously covered with ordinary parchment paper so as not to stick them.

Bake at 200 ° C for about 15 minutes.

The cooked ham puff pastry croissants can be eaten hot or cold according to your preferences.
