Dark chocolate Bavarian cream

How to make the Bavarian dark chocolate cream by preparing a cream with orange flavored milk, yolks, sugar and chocolate, and adding whipped cream at the end.


Ingredients for 2 people

- 250 ml of milk

- 1 untreated orange


- 100 g of sugar

- 2 yolks

- 80 g of dark chocolate


- 250 ml of fresh cream

- 4 sheets of jelly

- 1/2 glass of Grand Marnier


How to prepare the dark chocolate Bavarian cream

In a saucepan, heat the milk with the grated orange zest.

Soak the gelatin in cold water.

Chop the chocolate and melt it in half a glass of milk on a low heat.

In another bowl beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add by mixing the melted chocolate and the remaining milk.

Put the cream on low heat and add the softened and squeezed gelatin.

Stir continuously and when the mixture starts to thicken, remove it from the heat.

Filter it through a strainer and let it cool.

At this point add the whipped cream to the cold cream, mixing from the bottom up.

Wet the molds with the Grand Marnier and pour the Bavarian cream into it.


Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.
