Comment – With confident invocation, in Psalm 13 the author addresses his complaint to God by asking him how long his worries will last.
Psalm 13 complete
[1] To the choir master. Psalm. Di Davide.
[2] How long, Lord, will you keep forgetting me? How long will you hide your face from me?
[3] How long will I experience trouble in my soul, sadness in my heart every moment? How long will the enemy triumph over me?
[4] Look, answer me, Lord my God, keep the light in my eyes, lest the sleep of death surprise me,
[5] so that my enemy does not say: "I won!" and let my adversaries not rejoice when I waver.
[6] In your mercy I have confided. Rejoice my heart in your salvation and sing to the Lord, who has benefited me.
