How to make boats with chicken, recipe to be made using puff pastry, with mayonnaise among the ingredients necessary for this delicious appetizer.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 12 boats of puff pastry
- 200 g boiled chicken breast
- 6 tablespoons of ready-made mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 pinch of salt
- half roasted red pepper in oil for the garnish
Preparation of the boats with chicken and mayonnaise
Arrange the breast of the boiled chicken on the cutting board and, using a well-sharpened knife, reduce it into small and minute strips, about 5 cm long.
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise separately with a teaspoon of mustard and another of lemon juice, then add the chicken strips to the sauce, stirring several times.
After checking if it is necessary to add a pinch of salt, place a part of the mixture just prepared in the various puff pastry boats.

Cut half a red pepper in oil with scissors, obtaining many thin strips about 4 centimeters long, to be placed in the center of the filling of each boat.
Arrange the boats, prepared in this way, on a plate before serving.
