How to cook spaghetti with shrimp and peppers, a recipe for an original but easy to prepare first course, with few ingredients and achievable in about 40 minutes.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of spaghetti

- 1 onion


- half a yellow pepper

- 6 tablespoons of olive oil

- 250 g of shrimp


- 50 ml of white wine

- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

- White pepper

Preparation

1) First wash the prawns, then dry them.

2) After peeling the onion, chop it, then peel the pepper, wash it and cut it into strips.

3) Heat 3 tablespoons of oil to fry the chopped onion, then add the pepper fillets, salt and stew over low heat.

4) Respecting the cooking times written on the package, cook the pasta, making sure it remains al dente, then drain and drain it, being careful to set aside about half a glass of the cooking water.

5) In a large pan, heat the remaining oil and roast the shrimp, pouring the wine and adjusting the salt, then leave to cook for about 3 minutes on high heat.

6) Add the stewed peppers and continue cooking for a few more minutes.

7) Place the cooked spaghetti in the pan together with the shrimp, then add the parsley, mixing carefully and keeping the heat low.

8) Finally, before serving, sprinkle the pasta with freshly ground white pepper.
