Vegetable and ham pie

How to make the vegetable and cooked ham pie, recipe with shortcrust pastry, yellow squash, savoy cabbage, carrots, onion and pepper among the necessary ingredients, to be cooked in the oven and served hot.


Ingredients for 4/6 people

- 250 g of shortcrust pastry

- 2 carrots


- 1/4 of yellow pumpkin

- 1/2 savoy cabbage

- 1/2 yellow pepper


- 1 blonde onion

- 1 slice of cooked ham

- 50 g of butter


- 2 eggs

- nutmeg

Preparation of the vegetable and ham pie

Remove the peel and seeds from the pumpkin, then wash and clean the pepper, also eliminating the internal seeds, then cut them both into small cubes.

Finely slice the onion and stew it with the butter in a pan, then add the pumpkin and pepper, cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

Also add the peeled and diced carrots.

Slice and wash the cabbage and, after draining it, add it to the other vegetables, with salt and pepper.

Cook everything about 10 minutes and in the meantime heat the oven to 180 ° C.

Cover a cake pan with parchment paper and spread the brisée dough over it, piercing the bottom with a fork.


Transfer the vegetables to a bowl and let them cool.

Add the eggs, the nutmeg, the ham into strips and mix everything.

Put the mixture in the cake pan lined with the shortcrust pastry, turn the edges upside down and cook in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve the hot pie.
