Meaning of astronomical aberration
It is an apparent displacement of the position of a star or another celestial object, due to the composition of the speed of light and the earth, the latter simultaneously affected by an orbital motion around the sun and a rotation motion around on its imaginary axis.
This phenomenon has consequences that can be translated in the observation that, if the earth were not in motion, the direction in which a telescope would be pointing would indicate the real position of a star.
But on the contrary, as the earth is moving, in the few moments in which the light travels the distance that separates it from the objective and the focal plane, the telescope moves, not making the image of the star appear more in the center.
To overcome this, you need to tilt the telescope at a certain angle, which must be between the real and apparent direction, this means that it must be pointed in a direction that does not correspond exactly to that where the star observed is located.
