Preparation of the pasta with peas and bacon

After peeling it, wash and dry the shallot, then chop it with the bacon and let it dry in a pan with two tablespoons of oil, without letting it take color.

Add the peas, leave them to flavor for two minutes, mixing them with a wooden spoon, then wet them with the white wine which will be evaporated.

Give the peas flavor with a pinch of salt and ground pepper, add a glass of hot water by continuing to cook over low heat, keeping the pan covered, for about 15 minutes.

Wash and dry the basil, then cut its leaves into small strips, after preparing the cooked ham cut into strips of half a centimeter thick.

Bring a pot of salted water to the boil to cook the pasta, respecting the cooking times indicated on the package.

Drain the pasta while still al dente and pour it into the pan where the peas are located, add the basil and the cooked ham, mixing everything well.

Serve the pasta still hot, after having sprinkled it abundantly with the grated Parmesan.
