Ingredients for 4 people

- 4 large cabbage leaves

- 1 stalk of celery


- 1 carrot

- 1 spring onion

- 1 courgette


- extra virgin olive oil

- 200 g minced veal

- 1 egg


- 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 ripe tomatoes

Preparation of veal morsels with savoy cabbage

After cleaning celery, carrot, spring onion and courgette, chop them finely, then heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan, where they brown the vegetables over high heat, after lowering the heat and cooking for a further 10 minutes, before leaving to cool.

Transfer everything to a bowl, salt, pepper, add the minced meat and the egg, then flavor with the grated Parmesan, a pinch of cinnamon, the chopped leaves of thyme and marjoram, then mix carefully.


Blanch the cabbage leaves, drain and dry them gently, then stuff them with the meat mixture forming bundles to tie with kitchen string.

Place them in a pan greased with oil and distribute the diced tomatoes around them, finally pour a drop of water and the crumbled vegan nut.

Cover with aluminum foil and put in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for a cooking time of about 20 minutes.
