From Episcopal Palace to prepositure

The ancient prepositure of Prague is located on the side of the facade and on the southern side of St. Vitus Cathedral.

At first the Episcopal Palace, the building was renovated with Baroque features during the seventeenth century.

Worth seeing is the statue of St. Wenceslas, a seventeenth-century work by the artist J.J. Bendl.

Nearby is a granite obelisk from 1928, erected in memory of the fallen during the First World War, and an equestrian monument dedicated to Saint George, a copy of the original fourteenth-century original by Georg and Martin Von Kalusenburg.
