New Mexico is one of the 50 states that make up the United States, is divided into 33 counties and is geographically located in the southwest part.

Santa Fe is the capital which, located at two thousand meters of altitude, is the highest in the United States of America.


New Mexico is bordered by Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Colorado.

The convergence point between New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah is referred to as the Four corners, which translated into Italian means the four corners.

The landscape is very changeable passing from the deserts characterized by beautiful pink shades to the snow-covered mountains for most of the year.


There are many forests in New Mexico, contrary to what is believed in the common way of thinking that makes it considered an arid area.

The Rio Grande is the river that runs through the state from north to south, while the largest mountain is Wheeler Peak which reaches 4,011 meters.

Areas of tourist interest are the White Sands National Monument, the Carlsbad Caverns National Park, the Capulin Volcano National Monument, the Valles Caldera National Reserve and the Gila wilderness.


In Santa Fe, a city with a pleasant climate all year round, the main meeting place is Plaza de Santa Fe, where the Museum of New Mexico is located, housed in an ancient public building.

In the internal rooms are exhibits of all kinds, which help to reconstruct the history of the country.
