How to cook orecchiette with frozen broad beans, recipe for a tasty pasta-based first course, including bacon and arugula among the necessary ingredients.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of orecchiette

- 500 g of frozen broad beans


- 200 g of bacon cut into thin slices

- 200 g of feta cheese

- 3 cloves of garlic


- 2 bunches of rocket

- 1 tablespoon of olive oil

- salt


- pepper

Preparation

1) After cooking the beans, in boiling salted water for 6 minutes, drain them and pass them under cold water before letting them drain, then remove the skin that covers them.

2) Cut the bacon into cubes, peel the garlic and mash it.

3) Clean the rocket, wash and dry it with the centrifuge, then break up the leaves.

4) Cut the feta cheese into small pieces.

5) Now cook the orecchiette in abundant boiling salted water, respecting the cooking time indicated on the package.

6) Brown the bacon in the oil, waiting for it to become crunchy, then add the beans and garlic, seasoning later with salt and pepper.

7) After draining the orecchiette, put them in a container and mix them with all the ingredients.


8) Finally sprinkle with ground pepper and serve.
