Comment – In a very concise form, in Psalm 54 God is invoked asking for salvation against enemies. The psalmist undertakes to offer God a sacrifice in which praise for him abounds, for his greatness and infinite mercy. In reality, the true holocaust to offer to the Lord is the commitment of a life made of penance, to be united in intimate with the sacrifice inherent in the Eucharist.
