How to make pasta with scampi tails with aromatic herbs and cream, a guide for the easy preparation of this recipe with brandy and tabasco among the ingredients.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- Brandy

- 1 dl fresh cream


- Tabasco sauce

- grated zest of half a lemon

- 350 g of half whistles


- 250 gr aromatic herbs

- 300 gr prawn tails

- 1 clove of garlic


- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

- salt

How to prepare the pasta with scampi tails

Wash the herbs, drain and boil them in boiling salted water, calculating for cooking a time of 10 minutes from the resumption of the boil.

Peel the garlic, mash it and let it gild in a pan with the oil, then add the prawns, salt and brown for 3 minutes over medium heat.

Moisten with the brandy, let it evaporate on high heat, remove the garlic and add the cream along with a few drops of Tabasco, then mix and lower the heat to a minimum.

Drain the herbs, squeeze them well and, after having chopped them with the mixer, add them to the pan together with the scampi, continuing cooking for a further 10 minutes on medium heat, then perfume with the grated lemon zest and turn off the heat.

Boil the half-whistles in boiling salted water and for the cooking time indicated on the package, after draining the pasta and seasoning with the prepared sauce, mixing well before serving.
